A 'bridge floating in the sky', as the Japanese would say...
The beauty of the rainbow has always fascinated Madame Mo. It was therefore obvious that she has createda koinobori on this theme. More symbolically, the Rainbow, which often symbolizes the path or the bridge between 2 points, illustrates Madame Mo's desire to establish a strong link between French and Japanese culture. And then, in a more down-to-earth way, koinobori Rainbow is a very joyful koinbori, after all, doesn't it make itself an annouciator of good weather? (after the rain the good weather). This koinobori blends beautifully with many of our koinobori, like koinobori Daylight Blue and Mandarin.
More about the koinobori
The koinobori, carp-shaped windsock, is a mythical object in Japan: it is the gift that we offer to little boys, and more and more to little girls, at the children's party (Kodomo No Hi) May 5th.
Koinobori, an ethical and organic gift idea
This koi carp, made of organic cotton, is very popular among lovers of Japan. It represents a colourful and joyful nod to Japanese design.
